EDITOR’S NOTE
Hey Berliners,
I hope you've been enjoying this summer. Go outside, soak up the sun, let the long days do their thing.
Here are a few picks for the weekend. But most importantly, don't stress yourself out. You have nothing to prove, nowhere to be, and nothing to miss.
Happy slowdown,
Tim
THIS WEEK’S PICKS
PICK 1
Thrutopia @C*SPACE Berlin
A vernissage of collage and design from artist Niels Devisscher, work that grew out of five collaborations with regenerative change makers. Rather than dystopia or utopia, Thrutopia maps the adjacent possible, the future that is actually within reach from here. The collages work from archetype and myth, holding loss and renewal in the same frame.
🕓 When: Fri. May 29, 18:00 – 21:00
📍 Where: C*SPACE Berlin

PICK 2
Silent Reading / Creating Club @W66 Café
A gathering for people who like to focus together in public. Bring a book, a notebook, a sketchpad, knitting, whatever you want to spend a quiet hour with. The heart of it is the Great Quiet Hour from 11 to 12, a shared stretch of intentional silence, followed by gentle conversation for those who want it. No assignments, no expectations, just presence in a familiar room. Arrive before 11am to keep the quiet whole.
🕓 When: Sat. May 30, 10:30 – 12:30
📍 Where: W66 Café (address shared on RSVP)
PICK 3
Infusion: A Sunday Evening Retreat @Teeraum Sanvian
A three hour evening where tea, breath, sound, and scent steep into one another. It opens slowly with Sanvian's premium tea, then moves into a breathwork journey held by Alan Friday, a Berlin breathwork facilitator who bridges science and ceremony. The breath is carried by live music from Riko Schadow and woven through with the aromatic landscape of Olena Scent, before the room opens for soft conscious dance to bring the body back online. You leave grounded and ready for the week..
🕓 When: Sun. May 31, 19:00 – 22:00
📍 Where: Teeraum Sanvian (PBerg)
💶 Price: 33,00 €, tea included all evening
SLOWDOWN @HOME

This week I put together the
slowdown vol. 2
Just a few songs that resonate, the kind that invite you to slow down and enjoy the sound.
Press play, breathe, and let the music hold the space.
SOMETHING TO SIT WITH
"Silence is not the absence of something but the presence of everything."
